Young CAFOD supporter meets Tamiru from Ethiopia

One of our youngest supporters meet Tamiru at St Albans on Friday. Victoria -Rose was given special permission by her headteacher to come to the event at Wallasey on Frida. Victoria -Rose and her family were able to tell Tamiru that they have been longstanding supporters of CAFOD. While still at Primary School her elder sister Sarah -Louise and her friends known as the “People of the Pipeline”organised a Black and White Ball as well as other events to raise funds for CAFOD water projects. The whole family are invoved in their fundraising activities. When she heard of the effects of Typhoon Hayan Victoria Rose and her family gather gifts for a chocolate hamper and auction lotsto raise funds. Tamiru was amazed at the efforts our supporters make for our partners overseas.
