Supporters from Warrington pulled out all the stops to create a wonderful spread for CAFOD. High Tea at High Legh is an annual event (this year falling on June 17th Fathers’ Day) when supporters from our Warrintgton Parishes bake for CAFOD. They produce a seemingly never-ending supply of cakes and other delicious treats. There were book, plant and Fair trade stalls to add to the choice. The hall seemed to miraculously fill and empty at just the right rate with a constant flow of customers and supporters enjoying a happy relaxed atmosphere. Young people from three local high schools gave their time generously serving and cleaning the tables. All this was achieved under the guidance of Maureen with her wonderful army of helpers. Well done!!
